Today is #nationalcomingoutday Together we celebrate our pride & individual stories that have shaped who we are. We stand as a community of people appreciating how far we’ve come & look attentively at our futures. I came out 5 years ago on Facebook. I didn’t see much of a point of making a big deal out of it because to me... it wasn’t. It was just who I am. Luckily I didn’t have too much backlash when I came out other than the fact that some people were upset I didn’t tell them in person. Remember, this is your story & you choose how to tell it. If you want to shout to the world you are gay, bi, whatever, do that... as long as you are genuinely being you. As always, go tell someone you love them today & continue to be respectful, appreciative & kind to the people around you. Love you all - B
