As we approach World mental Health Day on 10th October, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have some exciting news to share. The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry is investing £2 million to establish a new start up for digital mental health innovation, which will develop new digital tools to help people have conversations about mental health.

Through the Heads Together campaign, Their Royal Highnesses set out to give people the confidence to start a conversation on mental health, and get help when they need it. They are incredibly proud of the millions of conversations that the Heads Together campaign generated, working with The Royal Foundation and eight charity partners.

Their Foundation also learned than better tools are needed to help give people the confidence to start a conversation on mental health – whether in times of calm or times of crisis – and to be able have this conversation wherever they are and whenever they need to. That is why they have announced this new digital mental health startup today – with more to follow in the year ahead.
