#SpeakingInDance | “We’re slowly drawn together and there’s all this push and pull — kind of quiet manipulation,” said the @nycballet principal @rebeccakrohn of this tense, mesmerizing pas de deux from #GeorgeBalanchine’s “Stravinsky Violin Concerto,” which she performs with @ramastar81. “Slowly it becomes a little bit more playful between the 2 — or at least that’s how I like to feel.” On Saturday, Rebecca will perform the ballet as part of her farewell program. Her next step? She’s the company’s newest ballet master, a job she’s always coveted. She started early, assisting the choreographer @laurenlovette this season. “I came off of a summer of emotional ups and downs, processing what it’s going to feel like to stop dancing,” Rebecca told the @ニューヨーク・タイムズ writer @giadk. “Then I started working with Lauren. I was like, I love this so much.
