SENIOR SUNDAY! Are you in need of love in a *big* way?! @susiesseniordogs has just the dog for you! Meet Tiny the 115 pound shepherd boy! Tiny is 10 years old and has been up for adoption for several months with no interest. He made his way to the Raleigh County Humane Society in Beckley, West Virginia as a stray. But Tiny was already neutered when he arrived and he also knows many commands (including "speak!"), all indications that he likely belonged to someone at some point. Now, because Tiny is a senior dog he can't find anyone to partner up with. Senior dogs have a very hard time getting adopted just because of their age, despite being all kinds of amazing!

Tiny is truly a good dog. He tested well with other dogs and he pays no attention to cats. He also walks well on leash and really loves being outdoors. He'd love a companion person to bond with and to simply enjoy life together. Brisk fall walks, cozy nights on the couch...also known to dogs as "The Good Life!" Tiny does not like living at the shelter and tries to let everyone know. In other words, he doesn't show well upon first impression because he is trying to get your attention! Unfortunately, most people misread Tiny and nobody has asked to meet him. Tiny's shelter is located in a rural part of the state and they have very few local adopters. All of these factors have really made it hard for Tiny to find a forever home.
The shelter's adoption policy is very simple. And they do accept out of state adopters! Transport is also regularly available to parts of Virginia and Pennsylvania.
