SENIOR SUNDAY: @susiesseniordogs Wants to share this success story with you! After spending his entire life with his former family, 13 year old Clyde was surrendered to the shelter last month in rough shape. But @clydetherescuepup has made a huge comeback! Clyde had painful matted fur on his body and all of his paws. He also had very severe ear infections. And he had many rotten teeth (one tooth was even completely entangled in matted fur). Yet through all his discomfort and pain, Clyde was a champ throughout his recovery journey. After getting his much needed vet care, Clyde's final hurdle was finding an adopter. Thankfully, with extra promotion it didn't take long! His new momma Carrie hopped right in her car after work one day to come meet her new little old man...and the rest is history! Clyde has been home for a few weeks now and has settled right in to his forever life. And Carrie and Clyde are completely smitten with each other! Congratulations, Clyde, you deserve this!
Carrie updates, "Clyde has completely stolen my heart. He has become my little shadow and cries if he can't see me. He makes a giant mess when he eats because of that silly tongue, and at first he wouldn't let me come near his face to clean it off. Now he sits patiently and lets me scrub the breakfast off of his chin (and head). And I have to scrub down the walls after he eats! ? Not only is @clydetherescuepup my first senior dog adoption, he's my first ever dog. I couldn't have found a sweeter, happier, more laid back pup if I tried. My heart is so happy to have found such a sweet and silly new best friend."
