Growth and new life are not solely reserved for springtime seasons. For me, both can look and feel like leaves falling from trees, old things shedding off to make room for new things to germinate and grow. The roots remain the same but the outward layers change and how we relate to the world around us changes too. And I rather like it. It's freeing.
