It's hard to be away from home in a time like this. Thank you to everyone expressing concern about the whereabouts of my family. I'm blessed that they are all safe but some families weren't that lucky. Some are still looking for their loved ones or went through the tragedy of losing them. Some are left without a home, food and belongings. Incredible people have been working night and day to move rubble to try rescue those trapped underneath, collecting goods, food, medicines to spread them to those in need. I have been seeing photograph after photograph of how people have come together as one to bring safety and comfort to the victims and it makes me incredibly proud of my countrymen and women who have united in a time like this. I wish I could be there to lend my hands in help, I am trying to do what I can remotely by donating and trying to create some international awareness.
