Instagram-land. Such an interesting world... I follow numerous accounts where people post honest experiences along with authentic photos, but it's not necessarily the norm. Most of the time we look at these photos and think the lives portrayed are perfect, or damn close to it! Just because we are smiling in this family photo does not mean there aren't ups and downs. We're smiling in this photo because it happened to be at Lennox's besties first birthday party and it was such a joyous occasion! Life is a rollercoaster and now with a tiny human in our lives it's even more emotional for me. I want amydavidson.com and my Instagram feed to stay authentic and down to earth, so that's why I choose to share experiences. I think it's easy to feel isolated at times and with something like postpartum depression and the stigma that can come with it, it's easy to feel alone.
