The Khutzeymateen, Canada's only grizzly bear sanctuary, is also home to coastal sea wolves, which have quite different diets than their inland counterparts, the grey wolf. Almost 90% of a sea wolves' diet is from the ocean. We watched this female eat a seal, then march back towards her den, stopping intermittently for a quick drink. #ExploreCanada

Au parc de Khutzeymateen, on trouve aussi le loup de la côte (ou « loup de mer »), dont le régime alimentaire est très différent de celui du loup gris, son cousin vivant dans les terres. De fait, près de 90 % de ce qu’il avale provient de l’océan. Nous avons vu cette femelle dévorer un phoque, puis retourner à sa tanière, en s’arrêtant à l’occasion pour s’abreuver rapidement. #ExploreBC
