Ok this. The background of this picture has been on my tv screen for what feels like weeks now. 2 weeks ago with hurricane Harvey we were scheduled to be in Corpus Christi the very night the hurricane hit, (so we had to cancel and not go). Now this Irma storm -we've been in Florida for 5 days and just left early this morning. Had to cancel being in Myrtle Beach tonight. I feel like I've had to do more strategizing and decision making for weeks now and I am officially exhausted. THIS SONG "Peace Be Still" could not have come out at a better time. If you're stuck fleeing from this storm, rebuilding from a past storm, or bracing for a current storm- put this song on repeat and let peace fill your heart, mind, homes and cars. I've decided my own strategies are exhausting because most of them haven't gone as planned--but God knows the details and how to help us. It's so much better to lean into His voice and trust His plans and timing. Peace be still.
