A Buckingham Palace bee collects nectar from an Agapanthus flower. ?? The garden at Buckingham Palace is home to several beehives which are used to produce pots of honey for the Palace.

The hives are situated at the centre of the lake on a small island that is also home to lots of wildflowers, making it the perfect environment for the bees.

Every summer, when Buckingham Palace is open to the public, visitors are able to walk through the garden as they leave – visit @royal_collection_trust to learn more.
