Without further ado, here’s the recipe!

Matcha Rice Cake
.
Recipe
180g Sweet Rice Flour
1 Pinch Salt
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Matcha
10 Tbsp Hot Water
1 tsp Cooking Oil
Matcha Almond Spread
.
Directions:
1. Combine salt, sugar, and matcha powder with sweet rice flour. Add hot water a little at a time. Mix until it forms a firm dough.
2. Divide the dough into thirds and steam for 20 mins.
3. Coat the inner side of plastic bag with cooking oil. Put the cooked rice cake inside the plastic bag and start pounding.
4. Place the rice cake inside a plastic-wrapped container to shape it. Pull out the rice cake, sprinkle matcha powder on top and slice it into pieces. Coat it with matcha powder once more before serving. Enjoy!
