How cute is Armond! ?a few months ago we had a very special day at our farm when I had the privilege of interviewing kids in the foster care system right here in own home state who are in danger of "aging out." That means that these kids reach 18 without a family to adopted them and then they are on their own. It's heartbreaking and wrong! Every child deserves a family! Sadly this happens to about 30,000 young people in our country each year, and statistically when this happens the rate if homelessness, drug abuse, un-planned pregnancy and prison-time for this kids is way too high. We can do something about that. I'm going to start sharing their stories with you here in hopes that seeing their faces, hearing their dreams will inspire those out there who have the room in your heart to give an older child a forever family to go for it!
