In 1990 this young nation in the southwest corner of Africa became one of the first countries in the world to include environmental protection in its constitution, and its progressive policies have led to a resurgence of wildlife. We salute organizations like the World Wildlife Fund Namibia, who actively partner with the government and local organizations to blend the needs of people and wildlife.
