Queridos amigos:
Por este medio quiero agradecerles por la increíble cantidad de mensajes de apoyo que estoy recibiendo estos días. La operación fue un éxito total y tengo mucha fe en que todo saldrá bien y pronto estaré de nuevo en las canchas haciendo lo que más me gusta. Cada uno de sus mensajes es fuerza y motivación para mí de cara a lo que viene.
Aprovecho también para agradecer a mi novia, a mi familia, a mis amigos y a mi club que siempre estuvieron conmigo en los momentos de más incertidumbre y preocupación y que me apoyaron en esta difícil decisión. ¡Muchas gracias de nuevo y que Dios los bendiga!

I hereby want to thank you all for the incredible and amazing amount of support messages I’ve been recieving these days. The surgery was a totally success and I strongly believe that everything will be all right and I‘ll be back on the pitch soon, doing what I like the most. Each of your messages give me strength and motivation to face up to the coming challenges.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank my girlfriend, my family, my friend and my club that always stand by my side in the most uncertain and worrying moments and who have supported me in this difficult decision.

ich möchte euch hiermit für die unglaubliche Anzahl von Zuschriften danken. Die operation war ein voller Erfolg und Ich vertraue sehr darauf, dass alles gut ausgehen wird und dass ich bald wieder auf dem Spielfeld stehen werde, um das zu tun, was mir am meisten Spaß macht. Jede einzelne Zuschrift gibt mir Kraft und Stärke angesichts dessen, was mir bevorsteht.
