@Scott_Kranz here again. Before moving to the Pacific Northwest over four years ago, I'll admit I only vaguely knew of Mount Rainier, the most prominent and glaciated peak in the contiguous United States. Since then, this stunning peak and #MountRainier #NationalPark as a whole has become one of the most special places to me. I've now spent countless hours staring up at this active volcano from the backcountry, witnessing it hide in and out of clouds, reflect off of still alpine waters, and bask in warm alpenglow ... a mountain and national park I once barely knew. Just think about the parks that you have yet to discover and that will become your own special places.
