At age 17 Jay Liesener broke his neck on a trampoline, which left him without the use of 85% of his body. After multiple surgeries and rehabilitation and many years of self-doubt, Jay finally had the courage to do the one thing he loves the most; return to the water to go surfing.
It took many years of prototype boards, recruiting people who believed in what he was trying to achieve, massive amounts of trial and error, a certain degree of luck, and a huge amount of trust on Jay’s part to get him back in the water, but Jay and his team made it happen.
Now sadly, Jay has been struggling with health issues related to his injury and said he's not gonna fight it but he's gonna surf until the end...Jay is going for "One More"!
