This is a sacred datura flower. It only opens at night and we have been waiting all summer to see it bloom. You know what also opens at night? Bars and venues and things. There's a famous one near Times Square called the Iridium where I'll be playing some tunes this Saturday night at 8pm. I'll be joined by my long time friend and collaborator Dan Brantigan™ as well as @treyamakesmusic whose album I'm producing. Old and new tunes. And songs against fascism. We won't talk politics or about the president since it is understood that he is included in the group of Nazi scum that I may allude to. They have seating and dinner so bring your dates and your parents and your tweens. Before you go take one more look at this amazing flower. I get to come home to it at night and in the morning it's shut again. I am grateful for its magic.
