Photo by @Cristina Mittermeier // I have spent some time with King Penguins on the archipelago of South Georgia, so I was a little surprised to learn that some of these large penguins, make it to the Falkland Islands (formerly Las Malvinas), which is their northernmost distribution. A day trip from the capital city of Stanley, delivers visitors to Volunteer Point, where one can walk on the beach with these majestic sea birds.
