Witnessed THE SUSTAINABLE FASHION SHOW OF THE DECADE yesterday. Why? First some background, the fashion industry is one of the dirtiest industries in the world, and although 80% of the over 60 million people employed are women, most of whom are black and brown, the majority do not make a living wage and will never be in leadership positions. That is why we need a #ClimateJustice solution -- one that address the intersection of climate change and racial justice. We cannot address exploitation of planet without addressing exploitation of people. We have to find a way to value all life to return balance to our world. That is why yesterday was so important.

Organized by @sofiamulan for the @uprosebrooklyn Climate Justice Youth Summit, the show brought together so many solutions, so much hope, and so much future together into one place.
