@sakuradragon: Meet Feed Me Dino, he’s a small dinosaur who loves to eat everything. I first drew him two years ago and he has evolved a lot as I’ve grown as an artist. I hope he can also inspire you to do what you love.

To keep his colors vibrant, I often clean my watercolors by running the entire tray under running water. Rubbing gently should get all of the color contamination out. Washing the watercolors also helps to loosen the paint up for easier use. To apply small highlights in areas like his eyes, I use the white Gelly Roll after the paper has completely dried. Colors dry a little differently then they look when wet, so if he’s looking a little flat, I go in and paint in darker shadows.
