?As the world prepares to celebrate #GlobalTigerDay this Saturday, July 29, we have some grrr-eat news to share about our 2-week-old Sumatran tiger cub: it appears to be a boy! Over the past few days, keepers have been able to get a quick look at the cub and weigh him when mom, Damai, leaves the den to eat and defecate.The cub appears to be healthy and strong. Shortly after birth, he weighed about three-and-a-half pounds. Yesterday, he weighed six-and-a-half pounds. #WeSaveSpecies #Squee #globaltigerday2017 @fonznationalzoo @スミソニアン博物館
