We are sad to share that Tulip, our 13-year-old Holstein cow, was humanely euthanized yesterday. Several days ago, keepers noticed that her activity, mobility and appetite were reduced. Veterinarians treated her with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications to ease her discomfort. Unfortunately, her condition worsened over the weekend. A favorite of Kids' Farm visitors young and old, Tulip was a wonderful ambassador for her species.
