David Whelan has enjoyed photographing endangered species ever since he received his first #nikon as an 18th birthday present. “I was fascinated by the expressions and facial shots of the animals and I started looking for a way to capture a portrait-style photo showing the animals going about their daily routine”. Now, not only does he use his images to bring their stories to life, he is helping to raise awareness of their plight.
