Here's a sad comment on fb from a cat owner defending declawing.???
Declawing a cat is cat cruelty and abuse and NOT love!
Her comment is a sad example of why we MUST educate the public about the awful truth about declawing and how it ALWAYS harms a cat's health and well being for its lifetime! That's a fact people!
Why in the world do many cat owners use the excuse of it's either death or barbarically amputating the toe bones and claws off their cats???
Any person that chooses to do this mutilating procedure to a cat, shouldn't have one. There are simple, commonsense humane alternatives like sturdy scratching posts, nail trims, soft paws, and deterrents for goodness sake!
Any vet that declaws a cat or that euthanizes a perfectly healthy cat for a cat owner like this, shouldn't be in this profession! ?
