Andy Freeberg began photographing art fairs, like Art Basel Miami Beach, after completing a series on the large white entrance desks in Chelsea galleries. He was looking for a more colorful, transparent atmosphere with the dealers and gallery directors right in the middle of the action. “I was attracted not only to the people but to the combinations of art, clothing, technical devices, and postures,” he says.
