President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were onstage with Polish President Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda in Warsaw on July 6 when it came time to shake hands. The men did so first. Trump then extended his hand to the Polish First Lady, Agata Kornhauser-Duda, who appeared to ignore the gesture and opted instead for the hand of Melania. Afterward they did shake hands.⠀

The awkward moment joins a growing list of instances when handshakes involving the president have been internationally scrutinized. French President Emmanuel Macron's knuckles turned white after a recent handshake with Trump. And previous handshakes with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe were also the subject of online analyses and speculation. #??⠀
