DAY4 - ANOTHER CHECK MARK ON MY LIST : I been working for the same employer for nearly 13years!! This year at the Psych ER has been though: Ppl quitting, short staff, pressure to help out on days off, high volumes of clients, high levels of danger, literally i had no time to pee or eat. ADD an effed up knee, another career on the side & a contest I signed up for ... U can only imagine my stress & pain. I decided to request a raise & My director was all for it. She wrote the most amazing letter to the department but HR replied that a raise was "not in the current budget ," my heart literally ?the amount of things I sacrificed both personally , family event & industry opportunities. I was devastated. ADD a sudden breakup n well the amount of emotional distress the unit has been causing me is MAJOR. So I decided to FINALLY do what I been thinking, venture off into something else. I've used my time to work on my resume & 3 days ago I decided to apply online. Since I want to be my own boss some day & I want to have my own business, I decided to apply for account management positions for Fortune 500 Companies. I applied to 3 that I felt very confident in & I MET w ALL 3 TODAY ? & ALL 3 CALLED ME BACK TO MEET THE TEAM!!! #100HappyDays #MyJourney #Growth #Change #TEAMVICE #bawselife #GOJV
