This insanity never ends. Advertising cat cruelty and abuse.???
Here's an ad that's in a direct mailer that a supporter sent me from a chain of animal hospitals in Michigan that are declawing torture factories. They even have coupons for 4 paw declaws on their website. ????
Around 80% of vets in America declaw cats for the welfare of a sofa and for greed. Around 5000 cats a DAY are declawed in America. Profiting from cruelty and torture is WRONG! These Michigan practices say that declawing is a standard procedure and say, "the younger the better to protect furniture and children." They say, "we do declaws everyday, the younger the cat the "better chances" of no complications." They say there are no negative consequences from declawing your cat.
They say that you will have to use @purina 's Yesterday's News for the declawed cats.
Purina is making millions of dollars from declawing and the sale of this cat litter that all these unethical and greedy pro-declaw vets recommend and use for their toe amputation procedures! These practices are deceiving cat owners to believe that declawing is ok, when it is NOT and is very harmful to the health and well being of a cat!! #Fact
Purina should help us educate the public about the truth on why cats need their CLAWS!!! An executive with Purina once told me that Purina is, "neither for or against declawing." ??
It's terrible to take a neutral stance on animal cruelty, especially when you are profiting from it.
