Tonight is for journaling from the heart, making some tea and unwinding with a little salt soak before watching a movie. I spent part of the day doing a major clean out in one of the rooms, purging a lot of unnecessary clutter, and it was freeing and therapeutic. As I cleared out the dust and rubble around me, I could feel the dust clear off of my heart too. And in that space I remembered that love is always stronger than its foe, kindness waters gardens & pulls out weeds and that time spent focusing on the goodness in life is never in vain. This summer is for exactly that. Chasing wonder down new roads, letting my son stay up a little later so we can look for shooting stars, making smoothies galore and hunting down the goodness in each day like it's hidden treasure. Because it is. .
