I choose to be alone this time. I've had 3 serious relationships. The other one I was just a kid. We played games we hurt each other we came back to repeat. Til one day I had enough. I jumped into a relationship ,((my mistake)) he turned out to be abusive n controlling)) that time I gave it a few months. Tried working out w my previous ex ((that didn't work )) as the months went by a friendship developed w a stranger who showed me good guys really do exist. I was very #cautious w my heart but he promised he'd never hurt me. Someone who saw me as me n not JV. 3yrs later a combination of a lot of things , things have come to light, the real person surfaced. God does things for reasons. One thing I learned - when u see a pattern from his past , don't think it won't happen to u. I learned I deserve to be treated ABOVE average not Bc I'm Jessenia Vice, bc IM JESSENIA GALLEGOS , im a phenomenal woman, a family woman, a committed woman , a hard working woman, a woman of faith , dedication n love & Deserve an equally strong minded, strong will person. I'll never forget my value n I will never again lose myself bc I stopped doing things I loved. A mans insecurity will justify his validation. Emotional cheating is probably worse than sex. I won't apologize for being wonder woman n I won't apologize for making someone feel uncomfortable with who they are n where they stand. I want to apologize to myself for sacrificing many grand opportunities just to make a man feel secure. A man should be proud n fall more in love w his woman's dreams. Not let his inner deamons make him look for superficial n ego pleasures. When there's a problem u talk to ur woman n work on it. U don't run n look for refuge to another person or turn to substance. That's easy, that's weak. U don't feed her with a life that's been a lie then try to destroy her. This time I'm going to do something I haven't in all 3 situations. BE SINGLE & REALLY FOCUS ON MYSELF while I walk into this new journey of my womanhood. I feel released. I feel cleansed. I actually feel HAPPY. IM STRONGER This is my way of letting go & moving forward #DETOX
