Show & tell: I've been asked what draws me towards the treasures often pictured here, so I thought I'd share the story behind a few starting in the center & clockwise.

Traveler's Notebook by @travelers_company: Someone gave me one years ago but it got passed on & I waited until the Blue Edition was released to invest in my own. It was during an empowering season so it holds special meaning as does the Olive Edition.

Model 31 fountain pen by @franklinchristoph: I tend to wait a long time, sometimes years, before I invest in a product. I first discovered F-C online a few years back & their dynamic designs, humble vibe & stellar craftsmanship resonated. Each pen is distinct & beckons a story to tell.

Hunter Satchel by @pegandawl: Another awesome brand I waited over a year to invest in as I got to know their eclectic waxed canvas goods & jewelry. I love that they're a family business based in my old stomping ground in Philadelphia too.

The @NikonUSA F4: This was gifted by dad who wanted me to learn the art of the instrument itself before running down the digital path. He is one of my biggest motivators.

Feather #quill: I received this at a writer's workshop five years ago. It was a bittersweet season but also on the precipice of an empowering one to come. It reminds me to be patient in the flux of transition.

Hobonichi & pen case by @galen_leather: Another family business with a compelling story of tragedy & triumph. I love their iconic contrast stitching & the care that goes into each handmade item.

Mod Tablet by @thisisground: A life changing investment that completely transformed how I approached organization. I cannot praise their innovative leather designs enough & they are just wonderful souls.
