Growing up i was surrounded with media and entertainment. My dad had shows on tv everyday except for Saturday, which was because he was on the radio. So i grew up around music and the djs that inspired my career path. Jimmy jatt sparked the dj flame in me from a very young age. I finally decided in University to at least give it a shot.
Professionally I have been djing since december of 2005, which makes it 10+ years in the game.
I decided to go full throttle when the brand started growing and becoming global. I won the NEA best world dj award in 2011 and that was a clear sign to me to take my dj career seriously. That was a very encouraging time in my life and career.
My career highlights are a lot to count because they happen frequently. But my best ones are traveling and learning about different cultures and music, i also get to meet some of my celebrity idols and work with some big name djs that i look up to.
So if I wasn't djing, i would be on radio or TV.
I really love the feeling of good music and being able to control how that sound is perceived . That's the MAGIC that keeps me going.
My advice to young people trying my things happen is; Be patient and put God first. The journey and the process to the top is worth it, so take your time. Work smart and then work hard, they are both not the same thing. Lastly, BE ORIGINAL.
