Photo by @FransLanting Two orphaned orangutans play together at a rehabilitation center in northern Borneo. Like human babies, they need affection and constant care from their mothers in order to become healthy adults. In Borneo and Sumatra, where they live in the wild, many orangutans are displaced during logging operations, and baby orangs are also victims of the illegal pet trade—captured by poachers who kill their mothers to reach them.
