What a day!!! Our @island.yoga May Retreat begins tomorrow and the studio is in full on preparation-mode; the team is running all over the place getting ready for 51 people arriving from all over the world for a week of yoga twice a day, fun adventures, delicious food and time in the sun. We have last minute construction happening(!!), everything getting scrubbed clean, new shade structures going up in the garden, the bar is getting stocked, new employees being trained, yoga mats and props organized... And we've prepared the baby room at the office so that Lea Luna can hang out at the studio all week long with grandma (who's arriving on the island right now!). Our very own restaurant @nourish.aruba is providing all the meals so it's all hands on deck this week. So much going on. Everyone is busy. Me and Lea? Not so much. We're just sitting here, enjoying our new rocking chair. Drinking tea, looking at each other. Listening to the busy-ness happening around us. Outside it's high speed. In here, everything is calm. We have nothing to do. Nowhere to be... But right here.
Being with this little girl is an every day lesson in mindfulness. She's teaching me more about presence and living in the moment than all my hours sitting in meditation combined. My little Buddha baby❤ #motherhood #yogaeverydamnday #islandyoga17
