So many moving stories coming out of Manchester today. Shops and restaurants delivering food to the hospital for the nurses and doctors that were up all night saving lives, cab drivers offering free services, people opening their homes for beds, cups of tea, hotels offering free rooms, the homeless man who ran into the arena after hearing the explosion and helped pull nails out of kids arms and faces. The fact it was a pop concert, such an innocent and celebratory event for so many young people in particular makes it hard to process, also makes it close to home. It's hard to imagine what Arianna and every single person who was at the concert is going through now. It's fucking unimaginable. My condolences go out to the family and friends of those that were killed last night. Manchester is a strong and beautiful city and I'm so moved by the strength shown in the community on this dark day.
