Ugochuckwu George Igbokwe started his career in 1998 as a stylist and later floated his own salon called: MAKE ME BEAUTY PLACE in 2004.
Since then his ingenuity in hair style creation has seen him traveling all over the world styling hair for different top designers, models, actress and superstars.
His creative hair style is seen all over the Magazines, TV stations, Movies, Musical Videos, Beauty Products packs and weaves and attachments packs likeand very recently, he was interviewed by CNN crew and aired on CNN “Quest Mean Business” by Richard Quest
In 2008 UGO won eight (8) different awards which some of it where the best beauty salon of year 2008 by Fashion & Style Award 2008, organised by City People Magazine, Best Stylist of year 2008 by Nigerian Fashion Award, Kanekalon Award as the Innovative Stylist of the year 2008 organised a hair fibber company based in Japan called Kaneka and Award for Investment in the hair & beauty industry in Nigeria organisedby Recare the makers Nature Gentle Touch, by 2015 he haswon total of 17 awards
In 2015, his company Make Me Beauty Place was chosen byL’Oreal to become their partner in Nigeria on Professional Product Department.
In March 2017 L’Oearl, in the same partnership with Make Me opened L’oreal Professional African Salon Institute with Nigeria’s most travelled and award winning best hair stylist in Nigeria.
