Photo by @andywcoleman // A lunar rainbow at Yosemite Falls in Yosemite National Park, California. This phenomenon happens at the falls in the spring during a full moon. If the sky is clear, the moon, which is just reflected sunlight, is enough light to generate a "moonbow" on the spray of the falls. You can actually get much closer to the falls, but I preferred the more panoramic view. Plus, we were far enough away from the falls to avoid getting wet. For another view from this area, including a reflection of the moonbow, follow me at @andywcoleman. #FindYourPark
