For a while I thought that talking about my issues made me weak and that people would judge me for them. When I finally opened up, it was amazing and soothing to know I wasn't alone. So many of us suffer through the same things, but we don't tend to reach out. By simply talking about it we can reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and allow people to open up and face their issues head on.
