I have looked for a caption for this picture for 3 days. Not because it's difficult but because I truly want to honor this man. True friends are rare & I wanted this text to be an appreciation post to him. @Juanpa Zurita. Juanpapapapito like I call him. Unfortunately there is absolutely no way a caption is going to be good enough to honor the friendship we have. Since I know you will read this Juanpa, I want to say Thank you for pushing me to use social media again. I remember how much I was just sick of the superficiality of it all and how much I didn't feel this was having any real impact in the world. I was giving up. And you pushed me. You believed in me. And ever since then you have been a huge piece of the puzzle of why I am writing this right now from Somalia after the most intense & most impactful 2 months of my life. On top of all of it you made the effort to come yourself to Somalia to document first hand the impact of our work & the untold beauty of Somalia. That tells a lot about who you are and why you do things. Looking back at our friendship I feel grateful. Looking forward I can only imagine more beautiful projects together & making happen more impossible ideas that one day I know will change the world. I love you juanpapapa. ? by @care_much
