Anton (27) and Alyona (23) just got married at the Pentecostal Church in Nizhny Tagil, a city of 360.00 located in the Urals just a few miles east of the virtual border between Europe and Asia.The photograph is an outtake of my story called “The Putin Generation” in the December 2016 issue of National Geographic Magazine. It looked at the lives, aspirations and dreams of young Russians in their mid-twenties.
