Starting the week off in a different tempo today. No matter how beautiful the moments can be, life is a continuous stream of lessons and within that comes stretching, growth pains, challenges, heartache, as well as maturing, meaningfulness, wonder, grace and even miracles. Sometimes it feels like an ethereal dream and other times it's grueling and exhausting. What I've been learning in this season is to focus on what is going well even if other areas are still in flux. The last couple months have felt like a tightrope between the two and for me it's been easy to focus on what's not working. But in doing that I am blinded to the many countless things that are working wonderfully and end up not enjoying those aspects simply because of where my focus is. So I've decided to be more malleable in my perspective and choose with purpose to focus on the areas of life that are beautiful and more than worthy of my gratitude. So on that, here's to a week of enjoying the good moments even if they come in pockets in between the real and the messy. And here's to finding the treasure in it all too. • -
