Of course it's crazy lovely and wonderful, too. Becoming a parent has been BY FAR the best thing I've ever done. The joy and the stress is inexplicable.
I think back to when my oldest child was a little girl -- who is now in high school. I miss that little girl, but I adore the teenager that she is now. My heart has been breaking for the Heap family who recently lost their little Holly. She would have turned four years old today.
