I've always wanted to see the Northern Lights. We were told there was a slim chance during our trip to Greenland last year, but for the most part they remained hidden. Towards the end of our trip @finnharries, @timtothewild and I arrived in the capital of Nuuk after our flight was diverted due to bad weather. As we drove out of the airport late one evening, the sky suddenly lit up a bright phosphorescent green. As soon as we arrived at our hotel I grabbed my camera and tripod and we ran down to the sea front. We spent a cold few hours sat on the edge of this rock watching the lights dance above the ocean. This was taken on a tripod with a wide angle lens and a 20 second exposure.
