I've always tried to live pretty fearlessly in my own life, and encouraged our children to live without fear as well, but when @legitsadierob was asked to do @dancingabc I have to admit, I felt a little bit of fear sending my 17 year old off to Hollywood for 3 months. I was worrying aloud about whether or not it was the right choice and dear friend said to me, "You have no reason to be afraid, Sadie has the Spirit of God living in her!" She was so right! So many times as parents we tell our kids to dream big, but we really mean "Not too big. Don't do anything that's scary. Stay right here beside me so I can keep you safe." But as followers of Christ, we should dream the biggest and never be afraid, because He is with us, He has gone before us, He is IN us! And He is greater than the one who is in the world. When people ask are you nervous for your kids to go off to college, travel the world, take risks, start a new adventure, move to a new state, I can confidently say, "Not at all, because greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world!"
