Every time I meet new friends, I tell them about my fiancée. They always say 'wow, she sounds great, I can't wait to meet her' and I always say 'well the problem there is that the minute you'll meet her is the minute you'll realise that I'm just an idiot and that she is way more fun to be around and way nicer than me'. The new friend laughs, I laugh and then then cry inside because it's true. I am a whole human person with fingers and toes and eyes to see those fingers and toes and other body parts too. But she brings overflowing passion to my brain. She brings a fervent determination to my daily routine. She turns my otherwise useless body into a functional and creative vessel of discovery. I will give my life to her, in the hope that I may bring her, if only for one second, the strength and self confidence that she brought me.
