Helen is my mum. She raised a strong family, ignited the creativity within thousands of children as a music teacher, and opened the world of music to hundreds of disabled children as a music therapist.
Margaret was my Grandmother. She raised a strong family, taught hundreds of children as a respected teacher, and selflessly raised thousands for the Princess Alice Hospice by organising yearly charity events.
Elsie is my Nana. She raised a strong family, owned a pub in the Cotswolds and at the age of 90 has full independence and a quicker mind than any of her children or grandchildren.
Ruth is my sister. She's the backbone of a strong family, a life long student, a physicist, an accountant, a mentor and an athlete (both physically and mentally)
Sarah is my fiancée. She had back surgery and learnt how to walk again, she's a proud American Muslim, she's on the board for a non-profit and she actively spends each day bettering her mind and the society she is proud to be a part of.
These women, and every other woman I have been blessed to meet have been huge influences in my life, and the attributes that I mention above barely scratch the surface of the women that they are. I am thankful and proud to be in their lives and to have them in mine.
