Unfortunately this could lead to the atrophy of other areas. In training, utilizing unilateral movements allows you to focus on one body of work more than another. If you find you have an arm or leg or any muscle not equal in presence as its counter part or antagonist; add 20% more volume to that muscle or that side. Adding 20% is enough to correct it while not allowing its counter part to atrophy, stunt its growth nor become underpowered.
