Adultery, small-town secrets, murder, lies and Elvis impersonations have all made ‘Big Little Lies’ our latest Sunday night TV obsession. An adaptation of Liane Moriarty’s best-selling novel, the show finished it’s limited, seven-episode run on HBO last night. Since episode one, viewers were left eager to find out the identities of both the killer and their victim. ‘Big Little Lies’ joins the ranks of other murder mystery shows like ‘The Jinx,’ ‘True Detective,’ and ‘The Night Of,’ but also brought a fresh perspective to the trend.
