#LonelyPlanet photographer, @ed_norton, recently visited the #SepilokOrangutanRehabilitationCentre in #Sepilok, around 25km north of Sandakan, #Malaysia. This is an animal sanctuary that covers some 40 sq km of the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. This inspiring world-famous centre welcomes orphaned and injured orangutans for rehabilitation before returning them to forest life. There's a variety of opportunities at this site for visitors that want to see and learn more about the Orangutans and the centre's work. #travel
